After completing his cooking degree at the Balearic Islands Culinary Institute (EHIB) and working as a baker for couple of years, Alex moved to Finland to kick off his cooking career. He started off as a stagiaire at a tiny Michelin starred restaurant and worked his way up until becoming the head chef of the Spanish Embassy to Helsinki. On the way, we worked in many different restaurants as a line cook, chef de partie and expediter. Additionally, he decided to study a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the Aalto University School of Business (Finland) in order to learn the management skills that one day would be needed to become an entrepreneur and open up his own restaurant.
The comeback of both cousins in 2016, together with their inborn passion for burgers and sweet potato fries, was the perfect context to make their dream come true: Raimundo Burger. Currently they work together with a very young, proactive and talented team of 4 waiters and 4 cooks to make sure that Raimundo serves the best burgers in town, from Monday to Saturday, since September 2017.
After graduating in Business Administration by the University of Barcelona (UB), Marta decided to move to Berlin in 2013 in order to get to know a different culture, improve her language skills in both English and German and grow as a person (okay, Berlin’s nightlife was also a determining factor when choosing where to move).
In Germany she worked as the front of the house manager at a small restaurant, where she fell in love with the restaurant life. In 2016, she decided to move back to her hometown, Palma, in order to start her own business.
